Which age group does BUP work with?
We help children and adolescents from newborn to 17 years of age.
Once you're aged 18 years, contact adult psychiatry. Many places have special units for "young adults" aged 18–20 years.
We also offer support for expectant parents suffering from severe anxiety about the idea of looking after their child.
Parents with babies and infants can turn to us when they have trouble finding the confidence they need to fulfil the needs of their child – intimacy and independence alike. Or when they are worried about their child's development.
